Who Am I?

My name is Sonia Wiles-Schott and I have been involved in the Fitness Industry for over 23 years and the Massage Industry for over 20 years.

I have tailored my business through experience working in London as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer and Freelance Group Fitness Instructor for a number of blue-chip corporations, and on cruise ships.

Now back on dry land, I am sharing my knowledge and expertise through my clinic, promoting health and well-being, not just for immediate or short term fixes or gain, but for long term sustainability.

I also offer Seminars to companies on how to Reduce loss of money due to sick leave by educating the staff on simple exercises/stretches they can do at their desk and through Soft Tissue Treatments applied.

What is ART Therapy?

Active release techniques (ART) is a fast growing, unique soft tissue system/movement-based technique, originally developed and patented by P. Michael Leahy. It was patented because it is unlike any other therapy, both in practical form and through its spectacular results.

Every ART session is actually a combination of examination and treatment. The ART provider uses his or her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.

These treatment protocols – over 500 specific moves – are unique to ART. They allow providers to identify and correct the specific problems that are affecting each individual patient. ART is not a cookie-cutter approach.
